We collaborated closely with the client to craft a user‑centric mobile app that reimagines charitable participation, offering features for real‑time alerts, micro‑donations, automated giving, and clear tracking, while keeping everything beautifully intuitive and secure.

3. What We Delivered

We built the Penny Appeal Canada App, bundled with:

  • Digital Tax Receipts were made available for every donation a donor has given in the present and past years.
  • A Round‑Up Micro‑Donation Feature that rounds user purchases to the nearest 10¢, channelling spare change into charitable causes
  • Donation Tracker with transparency tools to monitor giving history, supported causes, and measurable impact through real‑time feedback (an “Akhira Portfolio” of giving)
  • Automated Recurring Giving, enabling donors to set up scheduled donations, daily, monthly, or tied to special events like Ramadan, dhul hijjah or Fridays
  • Quick Donate & Secure Payments, letting users contribute in just two taps securely and with digital receipt support
  • Emergency Response Shortcuts & Charity Calculators (Zakat, Aqiqah, Fidyah) to further streamline charitable decision‑making and action
