We collaborated with the client to craft two complementary digital experiences: a knowledge‑rich website on Zakat.com and an intuitive, interactive Zakat Calculator embedded within the LaunchGood mobile app. These were designed to provide clarity, accessibility, and practical guidance for users looking to understand, calculate, and fulfill their Zakat obligation seamlessly online.

• A Zakat.com A centralized hub that breaks down Zakat into digestible sections, such as "Zakat basics," “Zakat on business,” “Zakat recipients,” and more, complete with simplified explanations, articles, FAQ tools, and pathways to educate and guide users toward meaningful Zakat giving zakat.com.
• LaunchGood Mobile App Zakat Calculator: A user‑friendly tool that allows individuals to input assets and debts to calculate Zakat due using established formulas (e.g., 2.5% of Zakatable assets meeting Nisab). Users can save their progress, revisit calculations, and track annual giving with ease.

These interconnected tools transformed Zakat from a complex, occasionally daunting duty into an approachable and empowering digital experience. The Zakat.com portal educates users while creating a smooth funnel to LaunchGood’s Zakat‑verified campaigns, ensuring that knowledge directly leads to meaningful action. Meanwhile, the calculator feature boosts user engagement and recurring usage by offering flexibility to save, update, and monitor one’s giving journey.

This project demonstrates the power of thoughtful digital product design in bridging tradition with modernity.
