1. The Challenge

We designed and developed a modern, user-focused directory app that brings together three essential categories into a single platform. Our approach prioritized clean UX, real-time location integration, and verified data sources to ensure reliability. The app was built to be intuitive, visually appealing, and scalable, giving users instant access to nearby services while helping businesses and mosques gain visibility.

We delivered a feature-rich mobile app with:

• Restaurant Directory: A curated list of halal dining options with filters for cuisine, distance, price range, and user ratings to help users make quick, informed decisions.
• Muslim-Owned Businesses: A dedicated section showcasing local Muslim entrepreneurs, featuring categories like retail, services, groceries, and more, enabling users to support the community directly.
• Places to Pray: Integrated geolocation tools to help users find nearby mosques, Islamic centres, and prayer spaces, with directions and facility details.
• Smart Search & Filters: Advanced search capabilities across all three categories to deliver fast and relevant results.
• User Reviews & Ratings: A built-in feedback system empowering the community to share experiences and keep listings up to date.

The app provided an all-in-one lifestyle solution for Muslims seeking halal food, community-driven businesses, and prayer spaces, simplifying what once required multiple searches or apps. It strengthened community connections, increased exposure for local Muslim businesses, and enhanced user convenience by integrating everything into a single, trusted platform.
